Solarium

After swimming the horses are rinsed off to remove any residual chlorine. They are then led into the solarium where the heat lamps keep the horse’s muscles warm and supple, and again is particularly useful for horses with injuries. The solarium eases muscle tension and ensures that the horse doesn’t stiffen up too dramatically and so is used as a means of speeding up recovery.
